Frequently Asked Questions
Class Cancellation Policy
The customer is required to cancel the training services agreement at least thirty (30) days prior to the training date to avoid paying a cancellation fee penalty. Cancellations requested less than thirty (30) days from the training date are subject to the USD$375.00 per student per day tuition fee and all travel costs and expenses associated with the training. All students attending the course who are not employed by the customer are subject to Global Avionics Training Specialists, LLC approval and billable at full tuition.
Company and Student Approval
Due to United States export laws, non U.S. citizen customer eligibility is reviewed for all courses. We will contact you if an issue or question arises during the approval process.
Student Substitutions
If a non U.S. citizen student substitution is needed, you must contact a Global Avionics Training Specialists representative at least ten (10) business days prior to the start date with the appropriate student information for approval. If notification is not received or a different student arrives for the scheduled training course, the customer is subject to United States Export laws and in some circumstances, the student may be denied admittance if he/she does not meet current United States export laws criteria.
International Students
International students are required to provide a valid passport number during the reservation process to comply with United States export laws. In addition, valid passports must be presented to the Global Avionics instructor on the first day of class.
Student Identification
All students are required to provide personal and company identification on the first day of class. Accepted types of identification include: A valid U.S. driver's license and a company badge for citizens of the United States or a valid passport and a company badge for non-U.S. citizens.
Dress Code
For safety reasons, we suggest no shorts, tank tops or open-toed shoes while attending class. Business casual dress is recommended.
Student Travel Expenses
All student travel expenses are the responsibility of the student and/or their company.
